The Latest @ Coeur
He's both History and Historian. Meet Bob Babbitt and come with us to Babbittville
Let us tell you about a place. No, wait, it’s a person. Well, it’s sort of a person and a place. It/He is part historian and part endurance sports history. If we talk about “Him”, we’d say that we think he is simultaneously, the nicest, funniest and most well respected individual in all of triathlon.
We interrupt the regularly scheduled blog post about our Women's Triathlon Clothing....
We have a weekly team meeting at Coeur where we discuss the state of the company, what’s going on in the industry and anything else that may be relevant. From time to time, we discuss topics that seem worthy of a blog post. We know that many companies that have a blog
What to look for when buying Women's Triathlon Tops and Shorts
Coeur Sports was founded by female Ironman athletes and we make women’s endurance sports clothing. Our line includes women’s triathlon shorts and tops and we’d like to tell you a bit about our gear and what to look for when buying your first triathlon kit.
Around the horn in Women's Triathlon
This does have something to do with Women's Triathlon, Cycling & Running...we promise
After reading some of this post, you may say to yourself…”This has exactly nothing to do with women’s triathlon, cycling and running.” But give us a paragraph or two. We’ll try to bring it together.
Like us, if you’ve been watching the news recently, you may be doubting humanity a bit.
Highlights in Women's Triathlon from the Weekend
Well folks, its time to put a bow on the weekend. The racing and training is done and we are so proud that our Coeur girls again delivered the goods. Our weekend started with Ironman 70.3 Muncie on Saturday. The race is well positioned for people doing Ironman Louisville and consequently, it is a very well attended affair.
Our Competitive Advantage
When we started Coeur, we were lucky enough to realize that an advisory board would (hopefully) keep us from making any huge mistakes. We were also lucky that we had a good network of friends who had a wide range of skills.
In a recent meeting with one of our advisors the question of competitive advantage came up. Specifically, we were asked about ours.
Muncie 70.3 Course Review
Ahh…Indiana. The Hoosier state. It was also, the home of James Dean, a man that they said must have been too good looking to be allowed to live. So, sad. The good (looking) ones go so young. It’s also (we believe) the home state to John Cougar. Who, IS still alive, by the way. But we digress.
How the tour helped us fall in love with Cycling again.

Happy 4th of July
So, the joke goes like this:
“An American Journalist has gotten permission to visit a very reclusive country in South East Asia that is ruled by a dictator. For the purpose of this joke, we shall call the country…let’s see…how about Korth Norea (after all, we don’t want the same fate to befall Coeur as did James Franco and Seth Rogan)
You had everything you needed inside
I want to tell you a story about a girl from Kansas. She went on a journey looking for something and found out that everything she needed was already inside her. It may seem familiar but keep reading because, we really like this version.
First, let’s catch you up on a few highlights from an amazing weekend.
Oh and how appropriate that we said “First”. Because we want to give a shout out to a couple of Coeur girls who took the top spot at their races.
Women's Specific Companies We Respect Part II
Recently, we posted a blog where we mentioned that there are (Newsflash!) other woman-owned endurance sports companies in the world. And (Warning…we’re about step in marketing poo again) some of them also make clothing and we really like and respect many of them.
Now, we’re aware that most experts would say that you shouldn’t mention a competitor by name and you certainly shouldn’t pay them a compliment. And perhaps the “experts” are right.
